The first United Nations International Day of Yoga was celebrated in Merisatamanranta on June 21st, 2015. The event was coordinated by the Embassy of India. The programme was presented by Art of Living, Bihar Yoga, Joogatila, Jooga- ja Tantrakoulu Natha, KK Entertainment, KuruYoga, Sahaja Yoga, Seasonal Yoga, Surya Ayurveda, Suomen Joogaliitto ry and Suomen Kundaliinijoogayhdistys ry.
Yoga and Tantra School Natha organized, in co-operation with Atman, the International Federation of Yoga and Meditation, two group meditations, which were done in unison in several cities worldwide. The first meditation was called ”Heart of the world”, 7 min a worldwide meditation for the wellbeing of our planet and humanity, and for peace on Earth.
The second meditation was 30 min Yang-spiral meditation. This meditation generates profound healing and transformative effects for all participants and it was centered around the astrological maximum of the Solstice.
